Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Arvella Jewellery website and to purchases made through our online store.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. About Arvella Jewellery

Arvella Jewellery is an online jewellery retailer offering curated jewellery, watches and accessories.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website only for lawful personal shopping purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website fraudulently or unlawfully.

  • Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website.

  • Copy or commercially reproduce our website content without permission.

  • Submit false personal, payment or delivery information.

  • Use automated systems to collect information from the website without permission.

We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused.

3. Product Information

We aim to present product descriptions, colours, dimensions, materials and images as accurately as reasonably possible.

However:

  • Colours may appear slightly different depending on the customer’s screen.

  • Handmade or individually finished pieces may have minor variations.

  • Measurements and weights may be approximate.

  • Styling items shown in photographs are not included unless expressly stated.

  • Packaging shown in photographs is not included unless expressly stated.

The product title, description, selected variant and information displayed on the product page form part of the purchase.

Products described as gold-tone, silver-tone, gold-plated, sterling silver or another material will be identified according to the information available to us. We will not describe a plated product as solid gold.

4. Product Images

Some product images may be professionally styled or digitally enhanced for presentation.

The appearance, colour, dimensions, stone arrangement and essential characteristics of the product supplied should correspond with the description and accurate product photographs on the product page.

Decorative backgrounds, display stands, flowers, boxes and other styling elements are not included unless expressly stated.

5. Prices

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling, identified by GBP or £.

Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

Before the customer completes an order, the checkout will display:

  • The product price.

  • Applicable delivery charges.

  • Applicable taxes or other mandatory charges known to us.

  • The total amount payable.

Customers should not be required to pay an unexpected charge that was not disclosed before purchasing.

6. Placing an Order

After placing an order, the customer will receive an automatic confirmation email.

This confirmation acknowledges that we have received the order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

An order is accepted when we send confirmation that it has been approved and is being prepared or dispatched.

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

  • The product is unavailable.

  • Payment cannot be authorised.

  • The delivery address is incomplete or unsupported.

  • We identify suspected fraud or unauthorised payment activity.

  • There is an obvious error in the product description or price.

  • The order breaches these Terms and Conditions.

Where payment has already been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, the amount paid will be refunded.

7. Payment

Payment must be completed using one of the methods displayed at checkout.

Available methods may include credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or another payment provider supported by the website.

Only display payment methods that are genuinely active.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Arvella Jewellery does not normally receive or store complete payment card details.

Additional verification may be required where fraud or unauthorised payment activity is suspected.

8. Availability

All products are subject to availability.

A product appearing on the website may become unavailable before the order is processed due to supplier inventory changes, technical errors or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a product becomes unavailable, we may:

  • Offer a suitable alternative with the customer’s agreement.

  • Provide a revised estimated delivery time.

  • Cancel and refund the affected item.

We will not substitute a product without the customer’s permission.

9. Delivery

Current delivery estimates and charges are shown on our Delivery & Returns page or during checkout.

Delivery dates are estimates unless we have expressly agreed to a guaranteed date.

Unless another delivery period has been clearly agreed with the customer, goods sold online should ordinarily be delivered within 30 days.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address.

  • The customer failing to respond to the carrier.

  • Customs or border procedures outside our reasonable control.

  • Severe weather, transport disruption or other exceptional events.

We remain responsible for selecting and managing the delivery service in accordance with the customer’s statutory rights.

10. Order Tracking

Where tracking is available, the tracking information will be sent by email or made available through the customer’s account.

Tracking information may take time to update after dispatch.

Customers should contact us if:

  • Tracking has not updated for an unusual period.

  • The parcel appears to have been lost.

  • The parcel is marked as delivered but has not been received.

11. Right to Cancel an Online Order

For most standard products purchased online, customers may cancel their order without providing a reason within 14 days after delivery.

To cancel, the customer must contact us.

After notifying us, the customer should return the product within the following 14 days.

Products must be returned with reasonable care and, where possible, with their original packaging, labels and accessories.

12. Return Costs

Unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not as described, the customer may be responsible for the cost of returning it.

The applicable return conditions and return address must be provided on our Delivery & Returns page.

Do not instruct customers to return products directly to an AliExpress supplier unless this has been properly arranged and clearly disclosed.

13. Refunds

Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.

For a valid change-of-mind cancellation, the refund will include the product price and the cost of standard outbound delivery. Where the customer selected a more expensive delivery service, we are not required to refund the difference above the standard option.

We may wait until we have received the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back.

Refunds should be processed within 14 days after the applicable return or evidence is received.

A reasonable deduction may be made where the customer has handled the product beyond what would normally be permitted when examining it and this has reduced its value.

14. Personalised and Custom-Made Products

The standard change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to products that are:

  • Made to the customer’s individual specifications.

  • Engraved with personalised text.

  • Specially altered for the customer.

  • Clearly personalised or custom-made.

This exception does not remove the customer’s rights where the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. Bespoke and clearly personalised goods are among the recognised exceptions to ordinary distance-selling cancellation rights.

A standard catalogue item ordered from a supplier only after the customer purchases it is not necessarily a personalised item.

15. Earrings and Hygiene

Where earrings or another hygiene-sensitive product are supplied in sealed protective packaging, we may be unable to accept a change-of-mind return after the hygiene seal has been broken, where permitted by law.

This restriction does not apply where the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Do not apply this restriction unless the product actually arrives in clearly sealed hygiene packaging.

16. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Products must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality.

  • Fit for their ordinary or agreed purpose.

  • As described.

  • Consistent with the product ordered.

Customers may have a short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods within 30 days, as well as further rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.

Customers should contact us promptly and provide:

  • Their order number.

  • A description of the problem.

  • Clear photographs or video where appropriate.

  • Photographs of the parcel and shipping label if damaged in transit.

Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights.

17. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional codes:

  • Must be entered before completing checkout.

  • Cannot normally be exchanged for cash.

  • May be limited to selected products or dates.

  • May not be combined unless expressly stated.

  • Cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.

We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an obvious technical or pricing error, provided this does not unfairly affect an order that has already been accepted.

18. Gift Cards

Where gift cards are offered, their validity period, permitted use and any exclusions will be stated when the card is purchased.

Gift cards cannot normally be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

Remove this section until Arvella actually offers gift cards.

19. Intellectual Property

The Arvella Jewellery name, logo, branding, website design, written descriptions and original visual materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

They may not be copied, reproduced, modified or commercially used without written permission.

Third-party brands appearing on products, including watch manufacturers, remain the property of their respective owners.

Arvella Jewellery does not claim to manufacture branded products that are clearly identified as being manufactured by another company.

20. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website secure and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may temporarily suspend the website for:

  • Maintenance.

  • Security updates.

  • Technical repairs.

  • Changes to products or services.

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control.

21. Our Responsibility

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence.

  • Breach of statutory consumer rights.

  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a purchase made for personal consumer use.

Consumer contract terms must not create an unfair imbalance or remove rights provided by law.

22. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as:

  • Severe weather.

  • Natural disasters.

  • Transport disruption.

  • Customs disruption.

  • Industrial action.

  • Government action.

  • Major technology or communications failures.

Where such an event substantially affects an order, we will contact the customer and take reasonable steps to reduce the delay.

23. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and cookie settings.

Our Privacy Policy explains:

  • Which information we collect.

  • Why we collect it.

  • Who we share it with.

  • How long we retain it.

  • The customer’s data protection rights.

24. Complaints

Customers may contact us with a question, concern or complaint at email.

Please include the order number and relevant details.

We aim to acknowledge customer messages within [NUMBER] business days and work toward a fair resolution.

Only promise a response time that you can realistically maintain.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in:

  • Our services.

  • Delivery arrangements.

  • Payment providers.

  • Website features.

  • Applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

The version that applied when an order was placed will continue to apply to that order.

26. Governing Law

These Terms do not remove any mandatory consumer protections available to customers under applicable law.

Clause to confirm professionally before publishing:

[THESE TERMS ARE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES, SUBJECT TO ANY MANDATORY RIGHTS AVAILABLE TO THE CUSTOMER.]

Because the business is operated from Brazil while targeting UK customers, this clause should be reviewed after you decide your legal business structure.
